AT&T Futurescape

Client: AT&T

Project Role: Principal Technical Artist

Activation Date: 2022

Futurescape was an interactive virtual world appearing on a massive 180 degree curved LED display, depicting a utopian high-tech future city powered by AT&T 5G. It was simultaneously installed in three AT&T Flagship retail stores in Chicago, Dallas, and San Francisco.

Visitors to the AT&T stores could interact with the virtual world in real time using a tablet placed in front of the screen. Users could navigate between four different hotspots in the city, enter their name to see it appear on signage in the virtual world, modify colors in the city’s scenery, and even create their own avatar to populate the virtual world using Ready Player Me™ integration.
